{CSN Stores} Review & Giveaway!

CSN Stores presented me with an opportunity to review an item of my choice. I chose this Paula Deen 9"x9" Stoneware Baker in green. I have a lot of Corningware and Pyrex casserole dishes, but I've always wanted a stoneware casserole dish. Here are some of the features that I like about this dish:

~ Crafted in a unique swirl pattern
~ Designed for oven, microwave, and refrigerator use
~ The durable, textured stoneware is uniquely glazed so that no two pieces are alike
~ Ideal for prepping, backing, serving, and reheating
~ Dishwasher safe and oven safe to 500°F

I used it for the first time last night and made Poppyseed Chicken Casserole. What I love about stoneware is that it cooks everything evenly, and I noticed that with this baker. My casserole was just as hot on the bottom as it was on the top. I also loved that it retained the heat longer than my other casserole dishes do. We went back for seconds about 10 or 15 minutes later and the casserole was still steaming and hot!
